Thanksgiving is a state of mind and being.

Not just one day of expressing gratitude✨

I think I learned that properly this year. I started an online business, without realising all the growth and challenge that came along with it.

One of the first things I was encouraged to do was writing a list every morning for a month of 10 things I’m grateful for and why. You think that you might run out of things, but no, the list is endless when you give it some thought.

Little repeated practices like that, create healthy new pathways in the brain and it really works!
So in the spirit of Thanksgiving, my first one, here is my gratitude list for today :

🖤My fiancé – I can’t even come up with a sentence to do justice to the incredible human specimen that is @perezmassimonyc

🤍My health – because this beautiful flesh temple I inhabit must be respected and loved and this year I’ve cracked it on many levels, in large part thanks to my biz. Also my growing understanding of my body’s own self healing ability and understanding of what it needs.

🖤Our cats – because they bring me so much joy.

🤍Our vinyl collection – more joy! After being digi for 10 years, it feels like coming home

🖤Our first livestream together – because it feels like the start of something special!

🤍My humour – my ability to always find it in the darkness

🖤Our home – because it is a haven full of love, joy , music and laughter

🤍My free will – because I know and live the fact that this is the most important thing I have and it will be protected at all costs.

🖤My business – because it’s an amazing vehicle for personal growth and expansion of health, wealth and freedom on many levels.

🤍Social media – in all it’s bullshit and toxicity it can be a wonderful platform for connection and expansion if used in a healthy way.

I don’t do the list every day now, but I do think about what I’m grateful for before I go to sleep and when I wake up.

When your mind says ‘no he’s definitely not the one, he doesn’t look like your normal type, he doesn’t act like your normal type, he’s not this he’s not that blah blah blah BLAH’.🗣🗣🧠

That’s what happened to me. I ran away when the voice in my mind drowned out my other voice. Jumped on a plane back to Bali. Phew. Safe.

WRONG.

I tuned in. Into that nagging little voice, not coming from my head, but my heart and my WHOLE BODY. Call it what you like. Intuition. Higher self. Source connection. TRUTH.🎯

That voice guided me back to my fiancé and the love of my life. ❤️

LISTEN.

That voice always knows your truth.

What happens when you get triggered? U react with judgement, of the source of the trigger, of yourself? Get angry? Dwell on it all day? Avoid it and move on? Hey, we’ve all been there.

Everyone gets triggered. I get triggered and I trigger people. More so lately than usual I think😂Par for the course when one starts sharing more.

What triggers you? I sometimes get triggered when I get a negative response/rejection or misconception about my online business.

So what is a trigger? It’s like a laser from an external event, interaction or experience that moves into your physical body and shows you exactly where you are vibrating out of alignment and where you have work to do, where something needs to be cleared.

Many triggers come from childhood, you may not even remember, and it could be as minor as a comment made by someone at an impressionable time in your life, that made you feel less than or not enough…you absorbed that and decided it was reality. Later on it manifests as a trigger.

So what to do?

What i’ve learned to do and what I want to share is this :

💎See the trigger coming and observe yourself, FEEL allll the feelings WITHOUT judgement, love yourself for doing it, note what your usual reaction would be and choose to react in a different way💎Realise this has absolutely nothing to do with who or what triggered you and EVERYTHING about you shifting and growing from the experience.

The amazing and mildly infuriating way the universe works is that variations of this experience will keep coming back until you work it out and release it💫

When you acknowledge that triggers are gifts, wonderful opportunities to shift into higher states of being, life becomes a whole lot more joyful and you peel away those pesky layers all the more quickly.🌼
One of the best things about the community that runs alongside my business is that it has encouraged me from the start to look at all of the things that might be in the way of success. They were bang on 🎯about the importance of inner work when it comes to running a successful business wowza, I have learned SO much.

💚Most importantly, life happens FOR me not TO me💚

On this most triggering day – week, i challenge you to rise above and not get triggered!

💓💓What the world needs right now is HEALING💓💓

We can all feel helpless at the enormity of the issues currently swirling around our lovely planet🌎
But it all starts with us. Within us. Taking positive steps towards our own healing and keeping our frequencies high, has an outward effect on those around us and just keeps expanding out into the world.💫💫💫 It’s science!*

🎶Music is massively healing for me. I put this together the other day, on a chill sort of balearic eclectic tip, it’s just beautiful music, none of that fancy mixing malarkey, just tunes that need to be played in their entirety, tunes that have been healing for me in some way, tunes that really get me in the feeeeeels.🎶

Definitely one for a lazy afternoon by the pool, by the fire, or out walking with headphones enjoying the greenery.🎧🥦
